PETVITAL^®DERM LIQUID

The combination of evening primrose oil and fish oil provides unsaturated fatty acids and skin-active vitamins (vitamin A), which can prevent nutritional and metabolic skin and hair problems.
These unsaturated fatty acids are essential; they need to be provided from an external source with the feed as the body cannot produce them itself.
They support the elasticity, the water binding capacity and the barrier function of the skin against harmful external influences.

A lack of essential fatty acids is possible in and after the following situations:

• during growth
• during the suckling period (lactation)
• in old age
• during stress / increased performance (e.g. heat, pregnancy, training)
• during coat change
• in the case of diabetes, cortisone treatment, after operations
• and much more.

A deficiency is also characterised, for example, by rough, dry coat, eczema (especially between the toes), dandruff, skin allergy, increased susceptibility of the skin to infections, inflammation of the ear canal, increased earwax formation, delayed wound healing, growth disturbance.
